Dick and Beth Gilbert have been pastoring at Slusser's for the past 33 years, Pastor Gilbert completed his studies at Warner Southern College where he met his wife Beth, and upon graduation accepted the call to Slusser's Chapel as Senior Pastor.

 

Beth serves as Minister of Worship where she, with the help of the Worship Team lead the congregation each week in a time a worship and song. She directs the Sanctuary Adult Choir and also oversees the Kids Children's Church  program: Mt. Climbers.

 

They have 3 children (Josh, Adam and Whitney) and 11 grandchildren! (Sophie, Charlie, Ava, Isabella and Zooey (Josh's), Jordan (newly married to Avery) & Caymen (Adam's), and with Whitney's recent marriage to Ryan Barbato - Carson, Mia, Nicholas & Alex. Josh continues his music career in Indianapolis, In., Adam works for the Walgreens Corporation in Raleigh, N.C. and Whitney is working part-time as a pre-school director and working alongside her husband at the Bridge, Goldsboro, N.C. The Gilberts are very proud of their kids but are quick to admit that grand-parenting is the best!
